Between 1955 and 1965 Ramón Masats traveled the geography of Spain with his camera. A commission on national values for the Illustrated Gazette that allowed the development of a new, synthetic language, accurate in content and splendid in its graphics. Masats' work coincides with the end of the Franco regime's autarky and with the opening designed by the Ministry of Education and Tourism.
