These photos were taken in the fifties with the intention to show Spain in a different way than the oficial propaganda did. It was sometimes a dark and sad Spain, underdeveloped an distant from Europe.
In these photos you can see how the passage of time has changed clothing, faces, towns and landscapes. A long time has elapsed since we were in that place but we can return them because of the power that held photography in portraying the past.
