The texts in the book provide additional information on a variety of subjects: the Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection, the building, the different sections into which the works are divided, and commentaries on the museum's most significant holdings. The most important artists in the collection are found in this guide, including Zurbarán, Pérez Villaamil, Fortuny, Rusiñol, Casas, Sorolla, Regoyos, Zuloaga, Iturrino, Anglada-Camarasa and Solana, among others.
This second edition has improved on and updated certain aspects of the first edition, such as the images, list of works and location of pieces on the floor plans.
